Methyl 1 Testosterone is an anabolic steroid which is a derivative of the dihydrotestosterone hormone. The structure of M1T is very similar to that of the dihydroboldenone hormone, but the added c17 alkylation substantially alters the activity of this steroid. M1T made its appearance in the market in the 1960’s a time when all kinds of anabolic steroids were being studied by the pharmaceutical companies. In spite of all the advantageous quality of this drug, it lay dormant for about forty years and then reappeared in the market in 2003. The Methyl-1-Testosterone cannot be converted into estrogen and it is a moderately androgenic and very anabolic. M1T is actually a kind of mixture of trenbolone, winstrol and primobolan since it comes with the testosterone structure of Primabolan, the superb potency of androgenic agent and synthetic anabolic steroid like Tren Acetate and the bioavailability of Winstrol. The potency of this steroid far exceeds that of any other anabolic steroid sold over the counter.
Methyl-1-Testosterone is widely being used by performing athletes as a quick muscle builder, which can lead to tremendous effects even at the slightest doses. However, most users who have been using the M1T alone have complained of a state of lethargy. Performing athletes and bodybuilders generally use this steroid as for bulking purposes since it is capable of promoting quick gains in strength and muscle mass. However this is often accompanied by a certain degree of water bloating. Though not aromatized by the human body, the M1T has some kind of progesterone properties. This is one reason why many people complain about side effects related to progesterone. These side effects come with symptoms like water retention, fat and even gynecomastia ( the development of female breast tissues beneath the nipples). This steroid could also produce androgenic side effects like too much oily skin, increased hair on face and body, and acne. However in case of females these side effects could take the shape of hoarseness of voice, enlargement of clitoris and development of hair on the face. The Methyl-1-Testosterone can be very corrosive for the liver this is one reason why most users advice not to use this steroid for more than 8 weeks at a stretch. Users generally try to combat this side effect by taking some kind of liver medicines (for eg. Liv 52) while on this steroid. Other side effects of this steroid include increased blood pressure, headaches, cramps, low appetite, irritability, insomnia and aggressiveness. The fact that it lowers the appetite can be advantageous or detrimental depending on the user’s goal. However one can reduce these side effects by lowering the dose or by taking little doses more frequently. One can also choose to combine this drug with other androgens.
Ideally one should start out on this drug with a dose of 5 – 10 mg per week and see how it goes. This range has proved effective for many users. However there are others who suggest that at least 20-40 mg should be taken per week to get desired results. However because of the side effects associated with this steroid it is advisable that one takes it in low doses close to 10 -30 mg range.
